Tony Hadley and Elmbridge Choir help to raise £7000 for Shooting Star Chase

ddddSinger-songwriter Tony Hadley brightened Christmas for children with life-limiting conditions with an exclusive performance at the 10th Shooting Star Chase and Surrey Life Carol Concert at St George's College, Weybridge.

Also featuring performances from Elmbridge Choir and the Shooting Star Chase's Family Choir, the concert raised more than £7,000 for the children’s hospice charity.

This is the third time Elmbridge Choir has performed at this wonderful annual event, and we feel absolutely privileged to have been part of it, and to have helped raise such a fantastic sum for such a worthy cause.

The Shooting Star Chase and Surrey Life carol concert raised vital funds to give children with life-limiting conditions, and their families, a Christmas to remember.



Snowball hits the spot!

There was no doubt that Christmas had arrived in Claygate last weekend as the 200-plus voices of Surrey Music performed a seasonal spectacular, ‘Make Mine a Snowball!’ at Holy Trinity Church.

While the audience of 350 enjoyed a varied festive programme from Elmbridge Ladies Choir and Elmbridge Choir, a dazzling light and visual show created a magical ambience within the church.

Our AwardReturning to the UK triumphant from a weekend of singing in Poland, Elmbridge Choir members are thrilled to have picked up a bronze award for their magnificent efforts in the Krakow Advent and Christmas Choir Festival.

The 130 or so members in the choir and the combined talents of musical directors Cliff van Tonder and Dale Thomas so impressed the competition judges that they were actually only one point away from winning the silver award.
